Being spiritually and emotionally prepared

Spiritually and Emotionally Prepared
By Alan Spendlove

“You can’t put 5 lbs of faith in a bucket, then wait to use it.”
Our Heavenly Father is the most loving, wisest, kindest, etc.  We cheered when we agreed to his plan, to come to earth to gain a body and be experience mortality to grow stronger to become more like him.
“…And when we arrived, we wondered what the shouting was about.” –Neil A. Maxwell
Earth is only hard because we forget the Plan of Happiness.
That which does not kill us makes us feel…..
Sad, depressed, hurt, angry, lonely, frustrated, etc.
And in the process, makes us STRONGER!
“Do not handicap your children by making their lives easy.
                                                            -Robert Heinlan
Enabling and Indulgence messes with our brains.

The Lord will direct you in your own way!
God makes a custom curriculum for each of us.

Emotionally Prepared
We will all go through personal disasters way more often than physical disasters.
These can prepare us or leave us less prepared!

Do Happy Rats Become Addicted?
A study was done to see if rats that are stimulated and happy become addicted.  They were presented with regular water and heroin water.  They chose regular water.  This was compared to rats that were caged, who chose the heroin water.  When the depressed rats were moved to a happy environment many of them began to choose regular water.
